Why would anyone, be satisfied, with electing, and being represented, by anyone, who was, either, not, ready, willing, and/ or, able, to make well – considered decisions? This is needed, and necessary, whether, it pertains, to the leader, in the smallest organization, and/ or, the President of the United States, and, all entities, in – between! If, we hope, for things, to proceed, better, we need, better – prepared, empathetic, qualified leaders, who, have the combination of a positive, can – do, attitude, with a relevant, well – developed, aptitude, and skill set, so, they assume the personal responsibility, to DECIDE, while others, procrastinate! With that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, why this matters.
1. Delve deeply; discover: There’s often a somewhat, fine – line, between, someone, who randomly acts, based on his personal gut (as President Trump, claims, he feels most comfortable with, because, he believes he is the smartest person in the room, and a so – called, stable genius), and proceeding, in a well – considered, planned manner, delving deeply, into the bigger – picture! When one weighs numerous options and alternatives, rather than merely, those, which agree with him, his perceptions, or fit, neatly, into someone’s comfort zone, he becomes capable of discovering what might make the most sense, and making the wisest, most relevant, and sustainable decisions, and considering potential ramifications, both in the near – term, and the sustainable future!
2. Empathy; emphasis: Unless/ until, any leader proceeds, with the utmost degree of genuine empathy, how can he place his emphasis, where it is most needed, and necessary? Is there anyone, for example, who really believes, President Donald Trump, is ready, willing, and able, to effectively, listen, and learn, on a consistent, persistent manner? For those, who, presently, or at any prior point – in – time, belonged to any type of organization/ group, etc, did those leaders, consistently, proceed, with that type of emphasis, and focus!
3. Character; clear/ clarity; creative; coordinate: It is incumbent – upon, true leaders, to consistently, coordinate their constituents, towards the greater – good! This means, a real leader, must possess the quality of character, and integrity, to articulate an inspiring message, clearly! Rather than pursuing, the same – old, same – old, and the good – old – days, one must combine a relevant imagination, with the creativity, and ability/ willingness, to innovate! Therefore, what should the American public have realized, when President Trump’s campaign slogan, was, Make America Great Again?
4. Integrity; innovate; imagination; ideas; ideology: We must demand the highest standards, from our leaders, including absolute integrity, combined with meaningful innovation, and the imagination, to introduce great ideas, which align with our core ideology!
5. Decisive; deference: We can’t afford leaders, who lack the ability, and/ or, willingness, to proceed, in a decisive manner, rather than resorting to procrastination! When constituents believe in their leader, and he earns that respect, they begin to earn and gain deference, from those, he leads, and represents!
6. Evolving; energize; efforts; excellence: Rather than being satisfied, with the same – old, same – old, we need a leader, who evolves, and has a vision, for his group, to do so, as well! When one focus his efforts, on energizing constituents, in a positive way, and demands his utmost degree of personal excellence, the group benefits!
Don’t create meaningless leadership, but, rather, demand, the individual, DECIDES the most relevant, sustainable course of action! It’s up to you, to demand better!
