It’s way, past – time, when, Americans must, start to pay, far less attention, to the empty rhetoric and promises, made by politicians, and public leaders, than, whether, they proceed, forward, with a well – considered, thorough, examination, of, whether their solutions, are viable, relevant, and sustainable, and what ACTIONS, make the most sense! Perhaps, more than ever, before, in recent memory, this has become obvious, and concerning, because of the behavior, rhetoric/ vitriol, attitude, aptitude, and apparent character, of President Donald Trump! With that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means, and represents, and why it matters.
1. Attitude; aptitude; attention; action plan: Pay more attention, to one’s attitude, because, we usually benefit, when there is a positive, can – do, one, rather than any other way! When, this is combined, with a relevant, well – considered, aptitude, and skill – set, and a willingness/ ability, to pay keen attention, to the true priorities, goals, and perceptions, of those, he serves and represents, he is capable of proceeding, with the best, possible, action plan!
2. Character; credible; create/ creative; considered: We must demand, elected/ public officials, consistently, proceed, with the finest, quality of character! These leaders must articulate a credible message, and have the creativity, to proceed, in a well – considered, relevant, sustainable manner!
3. Timely; time – tested; true; trust: Why would we trust anyone, who failed to tell us the truth, rather than make empty promises, and use polarizing (instead of unifying) rhetoric, and vitriol? To do so, these must be well – considered, timely (never procrastinate), and take advantage of time – tested lessons (rather than, either, looking back, to the past, as Trump does, or trying to reinvent – the – wheel)!
4. Ideas; imagination; innovative; integrity: Why do so many, seem to believe, President Trump, lacks the basic integrity, we need, and deserve? How can even, the best ideas, make a quality difference, unless/ until, the public is ready, willing, and able, to believe – in, him? The greatest leaders, proceed, with a well – considered, relevant, sustainable imagination, so they may introduce the finest innovations, which might create changes, for the better!
5. Options; opportunities; organized; open – minded: We don’t benefit, when, someone, focuses, on a slogan, such as, Make America Great Again, instead of fully considering all viable options, and alternatives, seeking the best opportunities, and, doing so, in a organized, open – minded, manner!
6. Needs; nerve: Instead of, focusing on any personal/ political agenda, and/ or, self – interest, we need, to carefully, choose, future public leaders, who emphasis, true needs, perceptions, and priorities, and have the nerve, to be a true leader!
7. Service; system; solutions; strategy; stronger; sustainable: Recent events should have taught us, populism doesn’t produce, relevant, sustainable leadership, and strategies, which fully consider, potential ramifications, and contingencies! When a public official, prioritizes quality service and representation, and creates, a meaningful system, emphasizing viable solutions, we will all benefit!
Wake up, America, and prioritize the strategy, plans, and actual, ACTIONS, instead of rhetoric, vitriol, and empty promises! Are you ready to become a more responsible American?
